Floor Lamp recommendations?

Can anyone recommend a floor lamp that gives good mood (soft) lighting?

I have been considering an Arne Jacobsen SAS AJ Royal (made by Santa&Cole, a great company), although I'm not sure I can afford that. And it has a bit less charisma than I would ideally like:

(I also like the Serge Mouille floor lamps but these are too expensive and their kind of design gives more direct lighting: http://www.sergemouille.com/ )

Do you want shape, style or iconic
I did a quick search at "allmodernlighting.com", it was at the top of my search return.
My eye likes Sonneman and Kovacs designs, but I do not know what critera your using.

The Elise Lamp is quite nice
for simple mood lighting. Crisp and clean and only $270.00.
Design Within Reach carries this lamp too, but I think they charge more.
