I just can't help it but when I see the word "flip clock" somehow this is what I think of:

william, that is pretty cool. Showing the time in 3D is an interesting idea, and unusual. But would you count that as a flip clock?

I heartily dislike the font clock. Everything about it is unpleasant and chaotic. Ptooey.

Ebay auctions
Apparently there is a Cifra 3 flip clock and a larger Solari clock on Ebay for auction right now (don't know the sellers in either case). I am quite interested at this point to learn whether the prices these clocks fetch are indeed rather high. For those interested in knowing how high they will end, auctionnrs are resp:

This zephyr desk clock by K.E.M. Weber for lawson in 1933 is the one that always comes to mind first when I think of vintage flip clocks.

The Weber clock is not...
The Weber clock is not really a flip clock. It has multi-faced "tumblers" that rotate. Kind of like rotating dice.

Servicing of Solari Cifra 3 Flip Clock ?????
I recently bought a Solari Cifra 3 flip clock, but it needs servicing. The minute flaps flip over fine, but not the hour flaps do not, do you know of anywhere I might get this clock serviced or/and repaired?

Solari Cifra 2
Michaeljamorgan - I have an orange Solari Cifra 2 which my Dad bought new in the sixties. I would like to sell it but one of the minute flaps has come adrift. It still keeps the correct time though. Can you help?
