In the hope that anyone out there has a mogens kold catalogue.
I spent the day with a gentleman in his late 80s who lived in denmark in 1950s while working for courtaulds and he told many anecdotes of meeting jacobsen wegner and becoming a good friend to svend aage madsen.
He has after 3 years agreed to let me buy some original danish furniture including a 4pcs suite from Mogens kold which he said was designed by finn juhl. I agree that the design is VERY like the juhl chairs and they are marked with mogens kold but I have not been able to find any information confirming the link.

Just looked through a couple of Juhl books including Brunn Rasmussen's Finn Juhl 100 years Auction and did not come across this chair. In the thread below, someone suggested Hovmand Olsen?

...I would put my money on Hovmand Olsen as well.
While I can not offer any documentation, I've never heard or read of any association of Finn Juhl with Mogens Kold, but they produced a number of Hovmand Olsen designs.
That fact aside, my eyes tell me that is far more likely a Hovmand Olsen design than Juhl. While Juhl's designs are certainly expressive and sculptural, there remains the restraint of an architect and rationalist. And as much as Juhl loved abstract art and free shapes, that design possesses a "flair" that seems much more like Hovmand Olsen's work to me.
