Hi All....I've been eyeing this on eBay and it is located close to me so I may go have a look in person. It's described as "Diplomat Lounge Chair by Finn Juhl for France & Sons, Denmark"
I was trying to research it, but I can't find anything relating to Juhl doing a Diplomat Lounge.
The armrests are certainly evocative of the Diplomat chair, but the cushioning and the bar supporting the back are clearly different.
Is it just a case of wishful thinking on the part of the seller?

I really don't think it is Finn Juhl. It's probably not made by France & Son either, ask the seller if there are any makers marks as France & Son always marked there pieces.
Its a nice chair though, the frame reminds me of some Kia Kristiansen designs.

This one has a Vatne tag, so it is reasonably certain that Vatne is the maker.

Solved and solved
Thanks as always to the wonderful contributors. I'm interested in a leather/wood reading chair and have my heart set on a FJ45. I came across this one searching for that and it looks comfortable, if not nearly as sculptural.
