Finding A Tulip base  

As much as I love Knoll Saarinen tulip tables, I could never spend that kind of money on a table, so I have been trying to make my own saarinen styled table

(the Idea)
I purchased a few years back, a table at Ikea called Gidea

it has a simple oval shape and would look so would with a tulip base.
My only problem is finding one at a reasonable price.

Does anyone have any Idea where to purchase just a base, do they make just bases? I have looked online for a while, it seems like the only reasonable way to do it would be to find a cheap burke table base. But if you know otherwise please let me know...
