Hi nick
Sorry for not replying earlier, not to sure on the current values its been a year or so since i was searching for them, think i paid £90 for my rt20 which was a fair price at the time, it did need some internal work new valve and other gubbins which cost another £30, buy the best example you can though, think it would be pretty hard to turn round a tatty example, the markings are printed onto the case and i dont think replacements are available, there is a phono socket on the back its the old style one (5 pin i think) i'm not sure if its an input or output though
Good news on the SK1 they are a great looking radio, what colour are you going to repaint it? mine was pale grey originally which I've kept, had it matched at a paint supplier (although i think its a little paler than original) I'll try and dig the ral code out
A heaver smoker had it originally, the paper dial was yellow and the speaker cloth was yellow, got some of the egg heads in work to make me a new dial, really struggled to get a suitable cloth it was either to modern or the weave was to tight, found a pretty close match at a fabric shop in the end, i can send you enough cloth for the grille and a spare dial (its an early one with just the UKW) if you need them
Some good info on the site below, some knowledgeable people on the forum to

If I have
three or four favorite stations, why can't I have pre-set buttons to select them easily -- like my car radio ?
Do ANY of the above radios have this feature ? The only radio I owned with pre-sets was a Grundig or Telefunken that I had in the late 'fifties or early 'sixties.
Presets
SDR, there are lots of radios with pushbutton presets. Try a Google search for something like:
("mid-century" OR "bakelite" OR "designed by") ("portable
radio" OR "kitchen radio") (preset OR pushbutton)
I got a few hundred hits each from a web search and an image search. Less-restrictive searches -- adding more ORed terms to the first parenthesized group or making the second one simply "radio" -- would produce more.

Here are some new images of my little Braun SK25. We have spent literally hours of hard graft restoring this inside (complete overhaul done by a great local radio repairer) and outside and it now looks beautiful I think. Very very happy with it. Sound is great too, amazing for something at least 40 years old.
Thanks must also go to Pete on this very forum who kindly sent me a replacement dial and cloth, much appreciated...
I Bought this Radio about 10 Years ago in Blue
I had to have the Blue Lexon "Underwater" radio the moment it appeared! It was shown in Promotional Materials and at Trade Shows INSIDE a Fish Tank, Underwater.
I bought mine and brought it into our swimming pool and it FILLED with Water instantly! It
"Still Works after Drying" but its battery terminals and other components corroded inside. I called the company to return it for replacement, thinking mine was "Defective", however, the Guarantee did not cover "Water Damage"!
The Actual Guarantee stated " Replacement if Defective, No replacement for use in wet or DAMP environments! Sold as an "Underwater Radio"!
I still have it, It works ( Tuner is Scratchy) It looks mint.
Still a Gorgeous Design!
I haven't had a 'favorite' radio since I was a kid,
and demanded this for my birthday.
From the moment I saw it, I was obsessed-- OBSESSED-- with owning one. I thought it'd transform me from the introverted butterball that I was, into a mod girl-on-the-go... flitting about town (i.e. my dull rural neighborhood) digging tunes on my yellow Panasonic doughnut radio.
