This gorgeous house has been mentioned on this site before. I saw it on a rerun of DCI Banks on a PBS station. The episode is called 'Piece of my heart'. It turns up quite often in the show and one can get a new perspective of the inside rooms as well as the exterior. It had lots of great furniture and paintings, etc. on view. I don't suppose it is ever open to the public, so this show might provide the best look at the inside. It is near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Did
it finally sell?
I can't believe it was on the market for so long.
[edit] I see it has. Lucky buyers!

What a wonder.
British modernism is just so . . . heartwarming. Almost a cartoon version of the genre ? I could be very happy here -- especially with a generous supply of cocktails.
Those high-gloss stone floors are almost sea-sickening. Let's hope that is only tons of wax, and not the dreaded poly-coating ! Glad to know she's in new hands -- loving ones, we hope.
