Hi, I have two black leather, chrome framed, high backed falcon chairs by Sigurd Ressel plus footstool. They are all in good condition, although one button has fallen off, which I still have. I have no idea of their worth....can anyone give me an estimate of how much I could or should ask for them? As I say, I am only contemplating at the moment. I just seem to be shuffling them around the house because I have too much furniture and something needs to go. I am in Australia. Also, is it worth putting them on ebay or going through an auction house?
Thanks in advance.

You're going to hear this from someone...
You're going to hear this from someone, so it might as well be me. If you check the forum rules, they clearly state that there is no requests for appraisals allowed on the forum. If you want to know the value of the chairs, you should be able to get a pretty good idea from checking eBay and other furniture stores online. Google is your friend and a little research will give you the answers that you seek. These chairs aren't that uncommon, so it shouldn't be too hard. Having said that, I think that eBay would probably be your best bet, unless there is a decent local auction house in your area. Good luck.

Hahaha
I guess I was beaten to the punch. Maybe I should have kept it short and sweet.

I would use the eBay prices as a good guide
as some dealers over-inflate their prices.
