This is my first purchase/and posting on furniture. I just bought a "falcon chair" but it doesn't Have rosewood legs/frame, and it doesn't have any kind of label on it. The chair pad looks original but no tags on it either. The "cushion" in the chair pads are foam. So my question is, were falcon chairs ever produced using wood other then rosewood?

Mine kind of looks like oak, might be teak, but I'm by no means an expert on wood, or anything else really for that matter. I like the chair whether it's original or not, but just would like to know. See Picture

Yours appears to be made out of laminated beech. They also exist with a chromed metal frame.
