I have what I think is a Falcon chair and ottoman but not quite sure. It has the chrome base, brown leather, canvass sling but has buckles instead of clips connecting it to the frame. It came into the family sometime in the 70's in Toronto. Is this an earlier model?

Falcon Chair High Back with Buckles
Picture of what I think is a very early version of the Falcon Back Chair.

Hi I have recently inheriited 3 Falcon Chairs. The leather is a bit worn but can be resusitated - I think. But the slings are very badly aged with exposure to the sun. Is there anyone making replacement slings for these chairs or do I need to get them custom made by an upholstere. Also the chrome is corroded. Is it best to restore or leave as original. Thanks Debbie
