Anyone tried these ebay straps? They are significantly cheaper than the real deal and appear to fit quite neatly into the angled slot on the Selig chairs.

Those are easy to assemble but you should make sure that the grooves on your chair will accomodate the thickness of the clips.  The clips that I have are pretty thick even when crimped as tightly as possible and some chairs have very narrow grooves.
