Hi,
I have a pair of what I think are Jacobsen grand prix chairs with wooden legs.
One base is stamped with the FH mark & the other on is not,
Is this normal for these chairs as all the others Ive seen on the web similar seem to be stamped?
Also one of the back legs has a come unglued in the centre layer(pictured)what would be best to repair it.
Any advice/information on these chairs would be helpful.
Thanks

Beautiful chairs, kinky!
I wouldn't be concerned with the lack of a stamp. The chair is obviously consistent with the marked example.
Unless the delaminated leg seems weak or unstable, I wouldn't worry about that, either. A proper repair is a bit tricky. Unless you're experienced with these types of repairs, you might want to leave it to a pro. It shouldn't cost that much to have it done right.

Thanks tktoo
I bought the chairs at a house sale without knowing anything about them at the time, they came with a dining table that has similar shaped legs but cannot find a makers mark.
Will try & put a picture up of it sometime to see if anybody recognises the design.
Thanks
