Hello there,

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on where to go about finding an extra Paul McCobb drawer and shelf from the Planner line? I purchased a credenza that is missing a drawer and a shelf and I'd like to be able to "make it whole."

Anyone have one lying around somewhere? 🙂

Thanks!

You could spend a lifetime looking.
Find a McCobb drawer-pull, then commision a carpenter to make a drawer & shelf-- it's your only hope. (Who on earth would have an extra DRAWER sitting around?)

I think you'd be amazed what people have just lying around. Have you ever seen the show Hoarders?

If a hoarder had an extra Paul McCobb Planner drawer,
it'd take a lifetime for them to find it-- so you're back to square one.

I noticed that they sometimes come up on eBay, but I thought there might perhaps be an architectural design/furniture curiosities store somewhere out there that might hold onto bric-a-brac like this.

.
Read 'guide to using this forum' and post on the radar 'wanted'.
I'd put the measurements of the ones you need. I'm not sure which
ones you mean. Different sizes i recall?
Ya never know.
I grew up with a house full it and most still used by my parents.
At one point he took out either drawers or a shelf to fit a small tv.
Not hoarders but tidy and big on re-use. Shelf may be spanning a
couple rafters in the attic, drawer may be under a bed with felt feet
to help it slide. : )
Not difficult to have what you need made though. Especially owning
some parts as a guide.

I did just read the guide, but didn't see anything about a wanted section.
The drawer I need is 28" x 15" x 4". You wouldn't have one of those rattling around in the attic, would you?
