The pictured mysterious retro-futuristic furniture is clearly designed to be used by Evil Geniuses on their secret moon base. But who made it? And when?
The sides are molded in a very sturdy plastic, possibly fiberglass, and has a flake/metallic look. Cushions are foam padded and covered with cotton or possibly linen.
Construction is solid, build quality high, as is the weight.
From the materials used (unbrako screws, the feet on the sofa), I'd guess it is probably made after 1970. But I'm not a specialist.
The logo is a B, an M or a crown, depending on which way you view it.
I think the previous owner said it was italian, but I'm not sure. He'd paid (he said) a 5 figure sum for it several years ago.
