Hey all,
I love the Erik Buck bar stools but they are too tall. I need counter stool height. Does anyone know if these chairs were manufactured in counter stool height also? I'm guessing probably not as I have yet to find anything but it can't hurt to ask.
If these don't come in counter stool heights, does anyone have suggestions on a nice mid-century modernish counter stool? A run down on the decor in the kitchen/dining area. I have a counter between my kitchen and dining area. I want to replace the uncomfortable (not to mention fugly) metal counter stools. In the dining area, I have a Knoll tulip table with white top surrounded by four Eames Herman Miller vinyl fiberglass side chairs...two in mustard yellow and two in reddish-orange. I have a couple of small teak pieces for storage in the dining area. The kitchen has white cabinets with dark bluish counters. The floors in both the kitchen and dining area are hardwood. The walls are light blue with a dark blue wall on the far end of the kitchen. Any ideas on counter-height stools to go with this decor would be awesome. Thanks!

Unfortunately, there are also a few floating out there that were originally bar height, but had their legs cut down to be counter height.
The stools designed for counter height do not have the rosewood footrests. Also on the counter stools, the back rail is aligned with the side rails, whereas both front and back rails are lower on the bar stools.
I've got four of the bar stools currently lined up along a 36" counter in my kitchen. When I finally get around to redesigning my kitchen, I'll make sure to include a 42" counter just to work with my stools.

Awesome! Thanks! I have been searching sale sites and had only come across the bar stools so I was doubting that they were made in counter height. I'll keep looking.
Any suggestions of counter stools that I might not have considered that would go with my decor? Thanks!
