Anyone into these chairs. Would like to know how to remove the backs in order to recover....there is one screw on the backs of the chairs, but does not appear to have a function - still impossible to get the backs off the chairs.

Don't know the chairs, but
if there is only one screw visible, it may be there to prevent the upholstered panels from sliding up and off concealed clips or slots. Try removing the screw and sliding the panel instead of pulling it.
