I have tried to contribute descent comments and articles the last 2 years, some people i know better than others like Barry, Heath, Finch, whitespike, midmod50
bustown,jesgood glassart, koen,Nick, james, james collins, robert1960,
The only other person who may not like me and i could care less is lucifersum but i think he has to much class to write maligning crap, cause like him or not he is smart and at least has something intelligent to say,

I know company Herman Miller...
I know company Herman Miller ,and I know this light fixture has nothing too do with any Millers. However I hear that there is tribes in Africa that worship the Eames arm shell , and even will collect money from the entire village to have them recovered. Tootsies and Hootos kill each other every day over these prized plastic chairs of the white man.

Well this is what I have to say
Lrf I think you only wish I was posting more dirty stories on design addict. Its funny how you still remember it like yesterday. Do you wish that Noguchi was in bed with you right about now. As far as comments most of the time in your comments you don't help anyone ,and it is more like you just brag about what you have or glib off useless data.Your so called friends on here probably don't have the balls to fess up that your a true design joke.

Hey hey hey peoples...
I don't appreciate mary whatsername being referred to as a stalker. I'M the ONLY stalker on Design Forum, thank you very much. I've been stalking Whitespike's girl for years now and I'm damn proud of it. There's only room for one stalker on DA, so maryanne, take your stalker ways elsewhere and let me do my stalkerage job.

MaryAnne
The reason LRF remembers your nasty ramblings on Noguchi is because they were pretty shocking to read here. Before you, I had never seen such lowlife postings on DA. This is a place where we talk about design - among other things - and not a place where we employ lowbrow Beavis and Butthead humor. And while I do find the occasional dirty joke funny, your comments were a bit colorful for my taste. You very often make rude, perverse, and unwanted comments. You claim LRF adds nothing to these discussions? At least he talks about modern design, which is the point of this site to begin with. Perhaps you'll find your humor more at home with a bunch of adolescents prank calling people on a school night.
Whether or not the LRF Target imposter reviews were you or not, it is your fault that it is so believable. If you hadn't habitually written rude and nasty comments no one would be pointing your direction.

Whoever did this, it is...
Whoever did this, it is really a bad joke that has been done to LRF. The least that one can expect from the posters of the forum is that they respect each other.
To get back to the subject, we find the "Egg chair" from Target really ugly. The armchair "Tirup" from IKEA also inspired by the Egg chair is slightly better, even if it remains very, very far from the quality of Jacobsen's original design.

Of all the newer products at Ikea, this shelf really stood out. Comes in many sizes.

It's hard for me to buy from Ikea
I'm tempted sometimes, but I feel like I'm throwing my money away. Aside from the Vilbert Chair, has there been any other Ikea piece that will hold value?
I'm not their target demographic.

Er... I don't think Ikea furniture should be thought of as an "investment"
...that will retain value for eventual resale.
(Unless, of course, you meant to imply that the quality is such that it'll only hold up for a few short years?)
