That button's dangerous for other reasons as well...I bid on a mobile about a year ago (estimated to go for between $200 and $300) -- anyway, the live bidder program wasn't showing any opening bids, so I thought, what the heck and hit that button. Just as I hit it however, the amount that I was agreeing to bid jumped by $600 and I was on the hook! Fortunately, somebody else bid, but it was a harrowing 15 seconds there. I'm definitely not bidding like that again.
