The original F163 little tulip was made with a base with 4 toes. A bit different base though than you showed on your picture. The base on your photo looks more like a Arne Jacobsen base to me. The one that is used among others for the Egg and Swan chairs. Under the link I have posted a very early promo-picture of the little tulip. Here you can clearly see the different base.
As far as I know, the little tulip was never produced by Artifort with the base you showed.

I have a huge library on my c...
I have a huge library on my computer with tons and tons of pictures of modern furniture. One of them is a picture of four Tulip chairs in blue vinyl with the same type of base as on Cubik's picture. I think my picture is from an auction house in the US.

Later base?
I used to have a Artifort Paulin tulip chair with that exact base (but with slightly different footpads). I'm pretty sure it was a recent edition, maybe 1990s and was marked Artifort on the underside...

Sell a pair or keep the twins, this is a crime of lese design to do it!, such items will be so rare to find in a very nearable future.
