I bought an Eames upholstered DAX for 100? (about 130$). The chair is in pristine condition, upholstery is clean, some very little rust spots on the base under the seat, foam is still quite bouncy. It is a '70 chair with small washers and screws going through the shell, and a round hole under the shell, all oryginal. When I got to the seller he said he got 3 more of this chairs (with some stains on the upholstery). He is asking 270? (350$) for the next three. Is this a good price? What do you think? I have so many chairs right now that I'll have to sell these. Is it worth it?

Price
Are you asking if it's a good deal for the purpose of reselling them? Only you can answer that question.

True
You are right. But the truth is I've never sold any of my chairs. I just keep acquiring them. And I just can't store any more chairs in my home. I got mine chair, and just want to save other 3 from the seller as he has no clue what he has. There are almost no upholstered chairs on ebay and other online auctions. The prices I've found already are extremly high (300 euro for a chair, and no bids). Is anybody buyng upholstered shells? I think I just leave it. I'll better stick to buyng.

Not everywhere.
In Poland you just can't. There is always ebay etc. Localy there are only repros or contemporary Vitra designs. Dealers just don't care about MCM. Ocasionaly (about 1-2 times a year) some side chairs pop up on online auction, but that's it. There is some Danish teak furniture avalible though. I bought my first pair of eames armchairs being described as some 'interesting retro '60 plastic chairs'.
