Eames shell transport US -> Europe

Hello All,
I want to order different Eames HM shells from US and ship to Europe.
Does anyone have experience in what the best way is to let them ship? Postal service? Container over seas? I really want to avoid border costs when importing them. Hope somebody can give some advice in that.

Side shells or arm shells?
Side shells are pretty straightforward. USPS would be the first option.

Regular mail
Mostly works fine. The post takes care of the documents and if you pack really well, it is the cheapest and easiest option.
