I just got an amazing deal on an authentic eames laminate round table, and a set of white molded chairs with wood and chrome bases for my small apartment. If I have a shared living and dining room space, would buying a eames molded rocker be overkill? Or would it tie the space together? Does anyone have any thoughts? Can you have too much eames in one room?

Never
I collect many a chair, but the Eames remain my staples for actual use in the home.
The brothers Eames would be proud.
And a pip pip, cheerio, to you Mark.

"The brothers Eames" ?
Is that something like "George Gershwin and his lovely wife, Ira" ?

Seeing yellow.
Woody, you should move to Boston where we take traffic signals as a personal challenge.

Probably true, LRF....
But as reported by several anonymous neighbors...back in the mid '50's..after 3 too many late night highballs...Charles became "Cha-Cha". He would throw on a mid length grass skirt, blond wig, frosted lipstick, and a sensible pair of strapless mules with marabou trim... and bad-ass Ray would chase him around the house with a weed-wacker..wearing nothing but gardening gloves. Oh what fun.
All the best,
Mark

Hmmp.
. . . and I always thought they were a lesbian couple, with "Charles" (actually Charlene) in male drag. (The pipe was a hoot -- so over the top !) You just never know the truth, do ya . . .
