They should have someone who can help you. I know I've called Herman Miller for questions about their vintage chairs, I assume Vitra would also have someone. You could also try the eames foundation.

I have a friend with what sounds like a similar chair bought in the 90s. Because she has an aversion to woodgrain and leather together (odd but she's in her 80s so i guess its up to her)but wanted a 670 she told me she'd had to custom order the black painted shell/white leather combo from Vitra. IMO not a happy combination.

Looks like they have also reproduced one of the early Time-Life stools that Ray designed but that never went into production.

Sampei80 we can't see your image but I have seen the combo before on the net.
I don't mind it but white leather is probably my least preference due to the easy discolouring over time.Also the white leather seems kinda contemporary 90s or 2000s unless you are going for the full modern monochrome interior which it would suit.
Just my opinion though.

How can i be sure that it's the original? the only thing i found are two labels in the bottom of the chair and the ottoman.
What about the price? 3000 Euro for the new one seems a good deal, don't you think?
