I recently came across an Eames leg splint at my local antique store for a very reasonable price. I plan to hang on to it and admire it for several months but ultimately need to sell it. Is there a more appropriate venue for selling it than eBay, somewhere where perhaps a higher percentage of people might know what it is? Or is eBay as good a place as any to sell this? Also does anyone have any idea what a good reserve would be for this should I decide to go the eBay route?

Be sure to list it as "Laminated What's-It"
If you have any leftover keywords, add "WOW" or "LOOK".

Congrats
On your $12 Whats-It.
These come up approximately every 1-2 weeks on eBay. $400-$500 is a typical price.
Or you could take it to your local Sculpture-Mart for consignment.

good sense of humor
woodywood,
I thought the Sculpture-Mart suggestion was very funny. I hope Lit Up with all their savoir faire does not spot this as he-she does not seem wear that type of joke well.

splint
I have a Charles and Ray Eames leg splint on the wall in my home, and serves as a constant reminder to me how the most simple of designs can be remarkable
