Where'd you see that? As far as I can tell, it's 25,000 yen for basic shell refoam/reupholstery -- that's around US$250 -- and they also seem to offer a 5000 yen discount for additional chairs after the first.

I guess after all the years of buying shells on ebay they are finally ready to sell them them to the world.
I only like Maharam fabric on the shells or vinyl,
I think that is what is the best looking.
DIY Re-covering
Is it doable? I have a shell with vinyl cover lifting off the shell. If I remove the edge tubing, can I put some glue in between vinyl and shell? What kind of glue would you suggest to use?
