Long time listener, first time caller. 🙂
I recently BUSTED my Tilt & Swivel Mechanism on my vintage Time Life chair. Both of the metal mounting plates (that connect to the torsion bar) have snapped off completely, and are unrepairable. Due to it's complicated design, simply rewelding this piece appears near impossible, and a replacement is needed.
Any forum folks have resources on where to find a replacement? I've checked around online with little success. Used or OEM.
Thanks in advance for the help on this one.
Blake

Time Life Chair
Hume Modern has a new one for $219, which is a reasonable and reliable option it seems.

Good luck!

Thanks for the response!
I actually did see that. Sent him a note, and was quoted over $400. Seems that his "Prices starting at $219" ends up a bit higher ;D
