good deal?
So two lounges for $500 and another 700.00 to recover both in vinyl...it would seem to not worth it if you have to reupholster them if the top value is only 500 each?
LFR, just for a better understanding could you break down the cost for me?
ie; cost of materials and labor.
Thanks!
If you have a regular ch...
If you have a regular chair you buy on ebay for 250 to 500 and spend 350 to put new vinyl on the chair it would give it a new chair look for around 600.00 now if you find a real good one on ebay it would be worth 600.00 with no work to be done, in great condition
you can do it!!!!! wha...
you can do it!!!!! what you can not take to a shop that does seat or boat work those Guys have the industrial machines and are familiar with curves, buckets, and all kinds of vinyl and leather and can do what you can not the 670 chair requires new zippers that is the only problem with it... the selig and plycraft are really easy they just unscrew from the back wood and and you can staple to the original inside wood with no problem
I sold one on Ebay...
...for $700---new leather on it plus the ottoman.
They're really easy to upholstery. And you can get beautiful whole hides from Kyson Leathers on Ebay (kysonleather is their ID) for under $150 including shipping for some colors. Other colors cost a bit more but all are excellent buys. I've gotten four hides from them and have am about to reupholster my fourth Selig/Plycraft set.
There's a big long thread on here somewhere about redoing them.
I suggest leather rather than vinyl. It has more give and of course is much nicer to look at and sit on and touch! And if you buy from Kyson, you don't have to pay that much more than good vinyl.
