As I hope many of you already know, Ray and Charles Eames had a hand in producing some plywood radio cabinets back in the mid 1940s. I understand that the cabinets were manufactured by Evans Plywood Company.
Can anyone tell me if a list/index/photos of these cabinets exists? I'm aware of the Zenith, Emerson, and Tele-Tone models, which are plentiful on Google. A note in the archives of M. Neuhart indicates that there are also cabinets for RCA, Detrola, and others, which I cannot track down.
Also, to what extent were the Eames involved in designing the radios as a whole? The Zenith and Emerson models look nothing like what I would expect from the Eames.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
