I saw that someone on ebay is selling an "Early WWII Charles and Ray Eames 1943 Molded Plywood Pilots Seat Vultee BT-15"
Personally, I have never heard of this. Does anyone know more about these? Or does this belong in the last thing that made you say WTF thread? I'm just curious...

It looks like a trim tab was sold in 2010 by Wright as an Eames piece, from the same make of aircraft.

Page 43 of this PDF says that Charles Eames did design the molded plywood seat for the Vultee.
