The ottoman
The ottoman is too close to the chair.
Anyone got a knife? 😉

Gorgeous Darlin!
The one thing I hate about the new chairs (and this includes mine) is that the cushions are puffed way up. That just means you need to sit in it. A lot. You need to get that leather really creased and broken in! 🙂
The ivory is gorgeous (and very much a woman's chair) and the walnut is just beautifully warm and rich!!!
So happy for you Riki 🙂

Riki, You know I was just...
Riki,
You know I was just funnin' with ya. That's a gorgeous chair. Sit in it and read, sleep, listen to music, and contemplate. That's what these chairs are made for.
I bought my chair directly from Dr. Albert Mehrabian, famous for his 7%-38%-55% rule of interpersonal communication. I like to think he was sitting in this chair in the 70s at UCLA when he came up with his theories.
I didn't know who he was when I bought it...I just wanted his chair. 🙂 My wife calls it "The Mehrabian chair" now. I sit in it a lot, but I don't think I'm getting any smarter. :/

Eames chair 1970 by PlyCraft
I would like to sell my Eames Chair - dark brown leather, walnut - Needs some repair to the wood, and the leather needs to be redone.
This chair was made by the above company and purchased around 1970-71.

If it's Plycraft
Then it's not Eames.

I have a plycraft, butterscotch brown leather. I absolutely love the chair. Find it amazingly comfortable. I sat in a proper, vintage Eames not that long ago and found it no better. Something about the Plycraft just seems to fit better. If you drill down to the details, it's no Eames, but for what I paid? Not a problem.
