Just picked up 2 of these chairs (from London, UK). I'm thinking Vitra but am unsure, can anyone out there help?

1980's Vitra maybe?
..seats have been recovered in an 80s looking fabric, is it possible to date the chairs in any way (bolts, etc)?

Hi
These look like the current production of Vitra/Herman Miller DKR, though I'm not sure exactly when they started being produced. The pads are probably aftermarket additions.

thanks woodywood...
...about the seat pads, the curve fits the contours of the chair perfectly. I've just removed a fabric section glued the underside of the seat pad and it's made of bent ply, the predrilled screw holes have a metal thread inserted into them. Could they be original?
Also, what are the tell tale signs of a current production Vitra/HM chair?

Vitra/HM
I can compare to vintage Herman Miller examples. Current production the top edge of the shell is rounder. The mounting bracket is different. Use of torx screws for mounting. Thicker gauge wire for Eiffel base (and probably for the shell as well).
Vintage production was not offered in chrome.
Regarding the pads, I have not seen them before but perhaps it is an option that is offered by Vitra in Europe.
