Hi there,
Today I've managed to get this chair without paying too much for it and that also explaines my worry perhaps. The feet look different from the eiffel bases I find on the internet. Trough the forum I was able to find similar topics on this but my subject seems to differ slightly from the ones posted.
Perhaps because of the good condition, it's a Vitra production, I'm just not sure.
There are no stamps or stickers to be found on the chair.
My hopes are for someone who can enlighten me on this. Thanks in advance for any comments/advice.
J.

P.S. If needed I can show some more images.

1st configuration of base...
1st configuration of base with the "flat" feet that came out of the eames office. This chair is, I would agree, Modernica. I don't believe HM or Vitra made a chrome version in this style.

Hi
Modernica would be my guess as well. Are you located in the US?

location
Many thanks for the replies, It appears I'm getting close to finding out the origin of this chair.
I've also read that Modernica took over some machines from HM and still manufacture's the same base shapes but without owning the rights to actually name them Eames.
I'm situated in The Netherlands. That's why my guess was Vitra. I got it via someone who found it in a vintage shop and tipped me about it.

Modernica
This is a Modernica version, 100% sure. This because of the base (feet) and frame (shape in combination chrome). A lot of dealers sell Modernica in NL (Bebob, Moet kunsten, My modern, etc...).
Vitra still produces the chrome version.

And the Vitra version is in...
And the Vitra version is in my opinion much better. Also it differs on many details from this Modernica DKR.
