Greetings. I searched through the forums and didnt find this exact question or answer so Id like to pose it here. I came across a local to me set of 8 used chairs being offered as Eames LCM chairs. I immediately realized they were not LCM but rather DCM chairs. The issue is that none of the chairs have any semblance of having or ever having a label or marking on the bottom. The chairs are coming from a business that had them in a conference room, not an antiques dealer or reseller. They are original and have never been refinished. The representative was "told" they were Herman Miller chairs and they have had them since around 1993. I can usually recognize a knock off but everything a bout them appears right, the plywood, the coloring, the chrome and body shape, the dimensions, the shock mounts, the screws and the glides are all correct for a Generation 3 chair which fits the time period they say the chairs were bought. So my question is simply, does anyone know IF any Eames DCM chairs have ever been produced and sold new without labels or makers marks of any kind? Thanks in advance for the time and info anyone can offer.

I believe all dcms come out of the factory with some labeling which can fall off over time. However, having all of them fall off on a set of 8 with absolutely no traces seems unlikely. Any pix?
