Hey, I just picked up this coffee table at an estate sale as an Eames-esque coffee table--I'd love a little help knowing one way or the other.
I'm attaching a Picasa gallery with detailed photos of the underside. The table has substantial age and appears to be hand constructed, with pencil lines drawn in to guide the placement of the legs.
I'm confused regarding the Evans/Herman Miller timeline for these...

Definitely!
This is without a doubt an authentic piece! Herman Miller would often leave pencil marks on the bottom of the furnishings. I've got some old pencil marks underneath my DTM. Anyways, with regard to its age, I am also unsure about the Evans/Herman Miller differences.
