Eames Aluminum Group Leather?

Quick question, when did Herman Miller begin manufacturing the Aluminum Group Management Chairs in full grain leather? I'm interested in a pair that a from the 70's which the seller is claiming to be leather, but that appear to be Naugahyde. Attached are two pictures of said chairs.

My old Apple desktop monitor
could be showing the texture of your lovely chairs incorrectly, but they sure do look like vinyl to me. I have no knowledge of their age...nor my age.

As stated above, they were manufactured in the mid 70's. I thought I read recently that they weren't available in leather until the chairs went to the 5-star base...
