EAMES: The Architect and the Painter  

Got to see a screening of the Eames documentary last night and have to say that what was most inspiring was the implementation of the Eames' Problem-Solving approach that produced the furniture and films that we're all so familiar with. The medium was just a vehicle for something bigger. Found it interesting that, at one point, Herman Miller seemed to have to push Eames to make more chairs. Almost like a musician or writer who is being pressured by their label or agent to WORK. Go see it if you get the chance.
