Does anyone recognize this teak rocking chair?  

Quite nice.
I wonder how the grain goes, on the largest piece of the side frame ? The direction isn't visible as the piece goes from diagonal to horizontal.
Maybe they found "knees," like the builders of barn roof framing, and boats, in times past . . . wood taken from trees whose branching form provides such shapes.

The grain on the longest piece of the side, going from back of seat up to the top, goes in the direction of the angle of the seat back. There are six pieces (that one, the arm rest, the front vertical piece from arm rest to the front of the rocker, the short vertical piece from the bottom of the seat to the back of the rocker, the seat piece, and the rocker. Each has grain going in the direction of the piece
I've quite fallen in love with it.

There are two pieces where there appear in the picture to be only one.
