Does anyone recognize this lamp?  

I am not an expert on mid century lamps/lights,but I do have an interest in them! First impressions are the shade and base don't go together ( in my opinion), so I googled folded acrylic lamp shade and had a few hits. Described as Kalmar "style" and usually found as pendant ceiling lights.Have attached a photo..Hope this helps.

Thank you for the information.It looks as if the shade belongs to the base. The construction looks original.But i also cannot find anything else than ceiling pendants.
Maybe somebody else knows an otherwise it's still a nice item that i got very cheap.

Did some further searching ( I like a challenge!). Found two table lamps; Lucite bases with your shade.First one is described as German 1960's; the second as mid century...no designer attributions.
