Ran across this hanging lamp today, the white part is one solid glass globe and the visor is held down by the rods with the bell nuts on a recess around the globe...
I saw the same lamp in black...
I saw the same lamp in black listed on craigslist before. Seller was attributing it to Lightolier. Not sure if it was true or not though
