These pics are from the exact same sofa..not mine...this is one that was sold on etsy. I found the same exact sofa at an antique store but it is unmarked. The one from etsy claimed that it was marked by the distributer..Abraham and Strauss, from my research they were a NYC area high end department store and they sold a lot nice mcm stuff John Stuart, Herman Miller, Etc. I even found where they worked with MOMA on exhibits and stuff. Hoping someone will know the maker of this piece....Thanks in advance
Below is the link to the past etsy sale

Well I will take a shot at it.
With its peg round legs and similar walnut skirt I would guess......

So I went ahead and scooped it up. For the price I couldn't leave it there 8^). I checked out Flexsteel. There are some close ones but not quite a match. Still very well could be though...does anyone know if Abraham and Strauss sold Flexsteel pieces? . It has metal hooks and loops that hold the cushion down. I believe its missing its arm cushions but not a deal breaker...

Jerrywc,
Flip the sofa upside down and take a peek under the dusk to see if there are any labels or markings. You can reattach the dust cover with a home stapler. Don't forget to use a flashlight too......

You never know what you will find when you get inside the womb. Yesterday I was taking the fabric off a Paul McCobb for Directional lounge chair and found this little gem inside.
Interesting

Maybe try Selig, Selig Imperial, or Kroehler

Dang Tyler...pretty good 8^)
and thanks Peruche for the advise. I pulled of the dust cover and didn't see anything, then I felt up inside and felt a piece of paper still stapled, you couldn't even see it..it was on the back side of the frame...I could tell when I was pulling it of that it wasn't much of a tag and I crossed my finger for a clue...lucky!
Thanks for the help!
So Selig from 1968
