I was wondering if there is any info out there about this company. Holman Manufacturing Co.. All I can find is that it was located in Pittsburg TX and is no longer around.
I found this great dining set on craigslist and was wondering if it's worth anything. Here's a picture of it.

Holman Table
Yep... I think it is indeed a Holman table, although I'm having a tough time finding out anything more about the company.

Yes.....Holman Manufacturing Company in Pittsburgh, TX...they were a family owned business and I believe the family was Danish. They produced Danish-styled furniture right up until some time in the 1990's. Their furniture was all hand-made and sold at high-end department stores (at least around Dallas, TX) in the 1950's and 60's....but the company actually started in the early 1900's. I know all of this, because I have met one of the Great Grandson's of the original couple, who passed the family business down to further generations.... and I asked him about my chairs. He also told me that everyone in his family was in the furniture business...and it was a huge ordeal when his generation was interested in other careers. There were like 9 children to original immigrant couple and all of them worked at the furniture company until they were very old. His generation were took different paths.
