Here, let me help you out ....
Here is the chair the OP is referring to: http://www.designaddict.com/forum/Identification/Please-help-ID-MCM-Rock...
Destijl Design, you started a new thread about your rocker instead of responding in your original thread---without realizing that the two threads wouldn't automatically be linked together. People saw your new thread and didn't connect it with the question you posted a day or two earlier (probably because most people remember the subject better than they remember the name of the person posting).
When you add a response to a thread, the thread gets bumped to the top of the list of threads. Eventually a thread with no recent responses sinks off the first page of the forum so not as many people notice it. This isn't usually a very fast-moving forum, but even so there are ID queries that sink before anyone has an answer. Then again, sometimes they will get answered weeks, months, or even years later. You never know!
Also, in spite of lots of thread views, the number of people who can ID any given thing is usually pretty small, or at least that's how it seems to me after being here for years.
Anyway, that's how basic posting works.
Thank you Spanky,
I certainly did not intend to upset the delicate balance of Design Addict. Like I said, I've never posted anything on this site. You know I was trying to load photos, you responded first. I still don't have any information regarding the chair, but lots of information about how I've gone about it all wrong. My apologies. Could you suggest a place where I could find out about my chair? Basic rule # 1 Respect and Courtesy seems to not apply to me.
