Hi,

After quite a bit of searching, we have found a dining table we like very much. The problem is that it is outside our budget--big time. The table can be found at http://www.longhi.it/sito/index.php?pag=dettagli&id_argomento=2&id_categoria=2&id_articolo
=6&pag_caratteristiche=271desko

We were interested in the bleached oak finish. Among other things, we like the table because it is reasonably compact when not extended (1.3m long extending to 1.9m). It goes for $2500. We would like to find something for less than $1500 or so.

Can anyone recommend a less expensive table very similar to the one in the link (that comes in a bleached oak finish)?

Thank you.

RHZ

Calligaris
check out Calligaris; they have a ton of expandable tables at a good price. The "Modern" looks similar to the one you like.

Thanks for the suggestion....
As a matter of fact, we checked out these tables and really liked everything about them (including the price)--except for the colors. When you look at the actual photo of the table, the color is very close to what we wanted, but when you look at the various color options by pressing on the "Technical Card" link, none of the colors appears to match the actual color of the table in the original photo or in the close up obtained by clicking on "setting" and then on zoom (beneath the photo of the table with a set of chairs). We have someone who sells these in our area. I may go back and speak with him again. Thanks again.
