"Small runs" of an item that requires expensive molds to make even one, doesn't sound like a winning proposition. . .or doesn't your design have to be molded ?

It does sound like it would be an expensive chair.
The "stingray' chair is vacuum pressed, if your moulding isn't too deep (or you could seperate the chair into a back and a seat) you might lower costs that way.
