I have nearly completed the « virtual visit » website of my LE CORBUSIER apartment in Marseilles' Unité d'Habitation (known as CITE RADIEUSE), and would be interested in having feedbacks, suggestions to improve it, etc.
Only in French right now, but it's mostly about photos, archives images, illustrations, etc.

Thank you for advices!

Bravo!
What a treat!
I'll visit again when i have a bit more time.
Of course the language barrier, and i'll search a bit more...
on my first viewing i wanted more photos of details. One step closer.
Usually involves dead straight on details up close...the pebbles in the
benches, the hardware, the artwork! involves a tripod, no flash.
or a few layers of frost tape over your flash as a filter.
I really appreciate all the work in letting us visit your home.
Fascinating. Only selfish of me to want more...but if i was to visit in person,
I would stop and pause, gather every detail to complete the story.
Thanks again for sharing!

More about Le Corbusier
I would suggest the link of this website design4now.com to see some rare pictures of the Tourette Monastery, near Lyon, France, build by Le Corbusier, with pictures of the closed public area.

Thank you! I found the site ...
Thank you! I found the site it a little cumbersome to use. Too much at once. Just me, and it doesn't detract from the success of the tour, which is quite nice. The details are a real bonus...very thoughtful! Is it just me, it seems to have some traditional African influences. Since you live there, could you tell us more about your experinces?

thank you for your reaction
English version is planned,I just need to finance it....The quality of the images could be improved ,and it's impossible to copy them...to avoid them "circulating" too much (the LE CORBUSIER Fondation is very carefull with the use of the images of LC works...even if you actually own the place). For the ones who can't understand french: this flat is very special because it's protected and listed "Historical Monument",due to it's incredible original condition. Same owner from 1952 to 2000,Lilette Ripert, a school teacher who advised LC in the setting-up of the schools he built on the tops of his Unités d'Habitation .She also collaborated on the book "MATERNELLES".Witnessing the gradual and important alterations in most of the 337 flats of CITE RADIEUSE by their various owners ,she realized the need of "protecting" hers so it wouldn't be damaged after her death. It is protected since 1995.
Visually I wanted the website to be "dense" ,like digging up in archives...one important influence was the colours samples from LC SALUBRA wallpaper collection, and images from the POEME ELECTRONIQUE.

It's worth...
learning French for!
Fourty years ago I visited the Cité Radieuse in Nantes and I must say that compared to those memories this place has aged so beautifully...just amazing.
It's great to look at...et encore, et encore et encore

As an armchair traveler - Thank You
There is often ample documentation of important architecture but rarely do I see real living quarters represented years later, unless they have been recently remodeled or refurbished to represent the original design.
Seeing a home with decades of living and real patina is exciting. To see a home preserved and used always brings a smile.
