Haallow
I was wondering if anyone knew a few designers or artists that used books for their work.. It seems IMPOSSIBLE to find anything decent on a search engine since the first fifty pages list links that SELL 'artists books' however I phrase the search.
I'd really appreciate it if anyone could help, thank you 🙂

Is a research or looking for inspiration?; those two are not for make at home:
ONE: "Babel tower made of book"I don't remember well, but was a photo of a 2-3 levels height Babel tower inside other building, VERY IMPRESIVE, gorgeous. I saw it a month ago, -so very new- in Europe,. Does anybody know what are I am talking about?
TWO: http://www.martaminujin.com/arte_efimero.html then ?arte efimero de los 80's?then
-partenon de libros-- (sorry, no english link) it's a partenon book, after return to democracy, made with forbidden books, that were given to general public at the end of the event.

Oh for additional information this is research, I go to Central Saint Martins in London and we're meant to research books...and I didn't know where to start, and DA looked like a good place to ask.

That's nice, but not the one I said.
The other was more in line with Minujin'partenon'book.
Was made with 'real' books, one over the other, so that would need I don't know, thaousands of of books. (It seem to be millions. It was INSIDE a museum or art center.

Could it be that in the future all communication will be by pictures and pictographs -- with perhaps some grunts and whistles indicating urgency, etc ?

azurechiken: I don't know. He could be.... ButI don't know, I was searching Robert Rauschenbergs and didn't found. Why do you think could be his work? He is a Texan artist as I read. What else could you teach us about him?

SDR, sorry, It's true. It would be much easier with pictures,
(could help posting "perhaps some grunts and whistles indicating urgency, etc ?" in "brainstorming"?
I know...,the link of marta minujin dosen't link directly with the pictures, and maybe someone could lost in the middle (pictures would be easier).
And about the book's tower, I made a croquis/ scketch that I made in my PC, and I'lltry to post it.
