I just stayed in Wolfgang Puck's Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood and really enjoyed the interior of the room. The lobby is only so-so to look at, but it has lots of modernist chairs to sit in and try out. It even had several Eames easy chairs sans the ottomans (didn't notice if they were HM or knock-offs). But the room I really enjoyed. It is to hotel rooms what Puck's food presentation is to cuisine. I won't bore you with details. Does anyone know who designed the room interiors for Puck's hotel? Somehow this designer achieved a kind of LA retro modern that was both kicked back AND lean and efficient.

David Rockwell of the Rockwell Group in NY...
to answer my own question. Would anyone comment/characterize his work. He's called the "experience guy" by some. Not sure what it means, but it doesn't sound all that flattering. Still, I enjoyed my stay at the Renaissance Hollywood.
