Design and Craftmanship in the 21st century  

Hi just thought id start this thread as a way of maybe getting to see some of the lesser known grassroots kind of design and craftmanship from around the world.
Ill start by sharing a few links
first is "My Precious" which was a project started by The Danish Cabinetmakers Association and resulted in some very interesting and beautiful results. Take a look for your self.

Second is "Skud På Stammen" a purely danish annual collaboration between the danish school of design and the cabinet makers school. they work together over the summer to finish their projects and the whole thing ends up in an exhibition on "Trapholt" a museum for art and design, and a book is published.
