...it goes down a few degrees,very comfortable...not keen on the upholstery but it doesn't look like the original material....I hope it isn't anyway

It looks like a DUX chair to me. Here is a site with a similar chair. Check underneath and see if the reclining mechanism is similar.

Thanks for the email Brent but it's very different even the lines of the chair are different...the DUX one looks clunkier than the ones I have.....
