Got this at Salvation Army for $12.99. 10 hours of labor and $15 worth of materials later. Finished in Watco Cherry.

Some of the thrifts in the Ann Arbor area get a little ahead of themselves when they price things. I didn't feel $12.99 was bad, but I've come across pieces that are in rough shape that have obscene prices on them. I always talk them down with the "Frequent Buyer" excuse. They see me all the time and they know I spend $$, so more times than not they succumb to my will.
